hello zoners one and all:
Today, well as of yesterday but I missed it on the 26th of january I am 4 hours
late, I've been on the zone for ten years! I joined in 2008 on exactly January
26th. I was 15. This site has been around about 5 years predating this date.
This is interesting. My account has been in existence here a long time. I took a
3 year hiatus so I've actually been here 7 years. A few months absence here
and there so maybe 6... still, that's a long time right? and now there is talk of
it's demise.
Besides mathematically. we can discuss more interesting things I am sure, I've
seen people come and go. Features show up and others go away. I remember
the times on ZBP. I still remember the day when the site was so full it nearly
crashed! uh-oh! Half of us was on the phone, on ZBP, and this place was
buzzing well, very slowly, since with 199 people, it was barely working, I
thought it would go down. We were kind of crowding in, wondering when it
would go down, how many people can actually be logged on, how many people
would log in. It was fun and a giant project. My friend Kcirehs who is on here
and I had fun talking and watching the progress. It was actually a neat idea
whoever came up with it.
The memories of ZBP was interesting and fun, there was it's dramas and also
it's sheer enjoyment. Me and a friend of mine would get on it and wonder if they
saw me and him on the conference how many would think we were dating and
while we were not we encouraged the roomer since it was so entertaining since
the presumption of this state of affairs was common. People came in and
listened to see if they could catch any juicy gossip, of course they couldn't.
there was people who went on there when drunk and on medication, there was
a lot of arguments, and then there was the nice intelligent ones.
One time I fell asleep up there and I knew these kids who were with me on the
AFB forums. They told me especially in the morning how much they enjoyed
trying to wake me up coming in and out of conferences yelling in to the phone,
apparently I heard none of it.
I was here when we had that interesting disastrous CL vote idea. I really wasn't
sure of the validity even from the beginning.
there was a mud when I was premium it was actually pretty interesting but
even if you're a premium now it's gone. I saw it there then I saw it get taken
down.
I also saw revisions of the twos and I had my fill of say in it.
What else oh yes when they started the raffle ideas. It was actually kind of
interesting and cool. I submitted tickets but never managed to win anything,
but it was fun when it lasted anyway.
I went on Team talk a few times. It was certainly interesting. I had a room up
there because I was a premium but the people I liked and knew on here back
then wasn't really on those things so it wasn't used.
